The company was founded in September 2018 and has provided a variety of services to our clients including research & strategy; training & presentations; distinctive projects; leadership & mentoring; webinar & video creation; and podcast services.

Principal & Founder Cecilia Sepp, CAE, made the nonprofit management profession her career since 1988, serving on staff as a Membership Director, Chapter Relations Director, Deputy Executive Director, and as a Chief Staff Executive (CSE). She has worked at two trade associations, three professional societies, and a nonprofit arts organization supporting the American art of tap dance. In all projects, Cecilia works closely with staff and volunteers to ensure a successful outcome.
She became a Certified Association Executive (CAE) in 2015, and her designation is current through 2026. In 2023, she earned the Certified Nonprofit Professional (CNP) certification. Cecilia earned a certificate in Nonprofit Accounting in 2018 and a durable certification in Virtual Event planning (VEIP) in 2021.

Cecilia is a recognized authority in nonprofit organization management and a leader who translates vision into action. She shares her expertise as a consultant, writer, speaker, podcast host, and skilled facilitator adept in all aspects of nonprofit management. A dynamic executive who partners with clients to respond to their most pressing challenges, her depth of experience includes expertise in strategic planning, research, membership, finance and operations, board and component relations, communications, team leadership, and fundraising.
Throughout her career, Cecilia has made an impact as an association CEO, a volunteer leader, and a nonprofit management consultant. She has partnered with groups across the nonprofit sector, from small volunteer organizations to global professional societies, to advance their missions.
Cecilia is the producer and host of “Radio Free 501c,” a weekly podcast bringing together nonprofit and for-profit business professionals from around the United States and the world to discuss issues of importance to nonprofit organizations.
Her passion for the profession of nonprofit management led her to create an education program, The 501c League, to support nonprofit management executives, CAE Candidates and current CAEs in their professional development. The League is a program of Rogue Tulips Consulting and offers study groups, courses, topic-specific webinars, and individual coaching.
